We’re a team of parents and educators with roots on both sides — Australian-born Chinese raised in Sydney, and a Chinese co-founder who knows the schools, the city and the system from the inside.

Between us we have over 15 years across early childhood education, bilingual learning and international school programmes, including a Master of Finance from Tsinghua University, an MBA from Cornell, and certification in the Pikler, RIE and PITC approaches to early childhood.

We built Mandarin Mates as the camp we wanted for our own children. Not a tour. Not a language class. Two weeks inside a real Chinese school, with family alongside.
